PERFUME BOOK COVER

it's 2:44am and i've just finished this cover. on a saturday night. i literally used the page out of my sketchbook for the cover and scanned in my hair for the back. there's a few tatty bits but this'll do.

so 3 hours later and i've done this. i think martini will be offended by the garish colours and type but this'll have to do.

THE START OF BOOK COVERS

back in november i had a brief which was to read the books 'alice's adventures in wonderland' and 'pefume' and then make a book cover for each of them. after catching severe viral gastroenteritis from wood green kebab centre, i missed a week and a half of uni and therefore working on this brief. i should have really caught up during the christmas break, maybe even the easter one but i'mlazy and stupid so i'm trying to finish it all now in time for my assessments. so these are some initial collage drawings of the mad hatter and queen of hearts. i hate book covers and have no idea where to start...FML.

NYC POSTCARD

we got sent an email at uni to make a postcard image for an exhibition later this year. i made a collage illustration using a photo i took while in new york, as i didn't actually manage to draw anything while i was there (don't tell martini). as per usual i've made two slightly different versions and i can't decide which is better. FML.

VERY LATE CHRISTMAS PROJECT

ages ago when i was off for christmas from uni, i was meant to create a response to martini's brief which was to make something that represents either your favourite or worst christmas present. i didn't do it cos i'm naughty.

so while i've been off for easter i'm trying to catch up and i choose to make a big padded, fabric pencil, as my favourite presents when i was little were always stationary or arty things.
