♥ ME & MY BABY ♥

Just a quick little collage drawing of me and my Baby.

✄ FINISHED MCMILLAN SPREADS...3/4

3 of 4 final colour spreads for a brief at uni...better quality scans and with some changes. My tutor suggested that i change any metallic or glitter card i'd used so i swapped those and i'm hoping i can get away with the small bits of holographic style card and a lot of the vinyl wood grain paper. All in all, it's alright.

☞ OMG ☜

I don't think these need much explanation and i'm scared to reveal they're not real...will Miu Miu hunt me down to burn them? I hope not.

☂ MORE MCMILLAN... ☂

These are some more rough pages from my book for my Mcmillan brief. Still got some stuff to tweak and add but i'm QUITE pleased with how they look...so far.

☂ NYLON SUBSCRIPTION ☂

One of the best things i have ever spent money on is my Nylon subscription. Makes my usual post of bills/overdraft charges/charges in general a bit nicer and the magazine is boom! Definitely my favourite.

SOME WORK FOR MCMILLAN BRIEF...

Here is a preview of a double page spread i'm working on for my latest brief at uni. My tutors wanted me to make a book like how i map my work in sketch books so that's what i'm aiming for! Think this page still needs something on Edna's part but i'm running short on ideas. Should really show my tutor at some point though...more coming soon. Click the image to make it bigger!

SELFRIDGES POSTERS...RE-VISITED...

After looking at my Selfridges posters with my tutor, she wanted to know why i didn't carry over my collage way of working in them. So i have decided to give them another go, ignoring the fact that they will be digital prints, and concentrating on collage and texture...on a Saturday night...

FAMILY CONVERSATIONS: BOOK 3 - BIG K

A small book based on a conversation i had with my dad. Images are collaged paper with pencil drawings, text is a typewriter and i've used a vinyl-like sticky paper for the cover.

FAMILY CONVERSATIONS: BOOK 2 - MIRRI

Another small artist book based on a conversation i had with my sister Mia.

MORE SHOES...AGAIN...

Two new pairs of shoes...oh no. First ones are Jeffrey Campbell Foxy Platforms in Cheetah, which i got for £30(!!!!!!!!) in the Office sale, how lucky is that! They're a size too big but i can get around that for 30 bar. And the second ones are Topshop Libby, really comfy and i can't believe they're not sold out yet - look at em.

I handed in a lot of work for my assessment today so will be uploading some stuff Friday or at the weekend when i get it back...

ACCESSORY POSTER NO.3: HATS

This is my final poster for the accessories at Selfridges brief. After speaking with my Tutor she suggested i change the block type (NEW HATS/SHOES/BAGS) to match the colour i'd highlighted to get full use of it, which made sense. All that's left to do now with this is print them and see how they come out.

ACCESSORY POSTER NO.2: BAGS

This is my poster no.2 for bags at Selfridges! I don't really like it as much as the shoes one and i think there still might need to be a few changes (and i don't know whether to go for the pink or purple AGAIN) but i'm happy with it so far. Gloves now to follow...i've just decided to go for purple and type on the left.

ACCESSORY POSTER NO.1: SHOES

So this is my poster for shoes at Selfridges. My brief was to only use three colours (not including black and white) so i've chosen yellow, pink and a skin colour. Originally i wanted to include three different tones of skin colour but realised that wouldn't fit the brief, so i've chosen a bright colour to represent that. Really effin hard to only use three colours and i still can't decide whether or not i like the blue better than the pink...

ACCESSORY POSTER DRAWINGS: SHOES

Emma Cook for Topshop
River Island - Navy Spike
Topshop - Wisteria
Ashish for Topshop
Jeffrey Campbell - Lita

Jeffrey Campbell - Foxy Platform

These are my drawings which will be somehow displayed on an A2 poster. I'm only allowed to use three colours in the whole image which is why i've shown the outlines as they'll most likely be what's on the finished poster. Originally drawn with a 0.1 fineliner. Gloves and hats to come...
