THE QUEEN'S DIAMOND JUBILEE

around november, martin decided to set us all a personal project. he wanted me to design and make a promotional pack for the queen's diamond jubilee in 2012. i did really like the sound of it and had a few ideas, but along with the rest of the class, i left it till last minute and ended up making something rushed and half finished. none the less, i think it's ok.
basically, it's a 3D diamond which opens up to a little pack containing a sash (just like the queen's!!) with a badge inside to put on it, and the whole idea is to collect different badges and brooches to fill the sash. i did want to put some other little stuff in there too, which i will get round to doing at some point. this is it anyway.

CONJOINED TWINS SCREEN PRINT

you can't really see it that well, but this is a screen print of the collage drawing i made of conjoined twins. i used a CMYK process so had to separate the image into four different sections, and then print the colours separately and on top of each other. i've got to do another 3 i think. FML.

NYC

so here are a few pics from NEW YORK. to be honest, i was expecting it to be a lot better than what it was. i was looking forward to something like sex and the city and loads of character, but all it seemed like was tall buildings and busy, straight roads. i'm not saying i didn't enjoy myself, but i definitely feel that london has a lot more to offer and reeks of character. the last photo is by turbs, and the first one by b.

the stop motion

so here it is. it's not perfect and not really finished but overall i'm quite pleased with it, not 100% pleased, but quite.

e4 'monday night movies' stop motion

these are some photos for the set i created for my stop motion animation for a brief at uni. the making part was fun but the animation itself was hell, i was up until half 10 this morning finishing it all off, you need patience and pro plus for after effects i tell ya.

re-organised my room again. this time i've made a polaroid heart, gained more crap, more clothes on the rail, and more shoes that had to be given a tackshelf spot.

OLD A LEVEL POLAROIDS

so i've just sorted out my bookshelf and re-arranged it all (photo obviously coming soon) and i found these polaroids i took for one of my a level art projects back in the day and had to scan them in. i effin ruined them by writing stupid things and i've tried my hardest to sort that out, which is why the bottoms look weird. the photos are from southend and brighton and the top three are my FAVES.

so so so after originally creating this blog on tumblr a while back, i've finally deleted it and started afresh. this will be for work purposes and my new tumblr for inspiration. 2010 RESOLUTION WAS TO BE MORE ORGANISED, more than i already am. SOZ to any followers, not that i think you'll notice.

So here is the latest member of the Travis animal clan - Baby. I did call him Bobert, but we just call him Baby now, you know like Baby from Dirty Dancing? He's a boy though.
